The Breet Report

Aside from scandal of “Climate-gate,” there are legitimate reasons as to why the environment should be discussed.   The idea of taxing has gotten way out of control – far out of control.  No one, at least the blue-collar worker/unemployed, has the money to keep paying for the hikes, fees, and whatever else could be thought of to tax.  Come on we pay now and the money is mismanaged (in some cases) with nothing but a big headache of a scandal. Now, taking it out in trade, via a dictator style, really wouldn’t work for most people I believe.  So, in my humble opinion, the discussion of the environment should continue. Let me explain why…

Here at the homestead/apartment, the community is quaint.  The issues of violence, heard/seen/otherwise, are either because of the speeders zooming down the main drag or an occasional disagreement, which has happened only once.  Anyway, as you probably guessed, the apartments are cubed and stacked on top of each other.  I have neighbors above, to the sides, and across from here. Everyone, in this nook of the world, are very nice.  So, what’s the issue?  Ever have a neighbor that keeps using water ALL DAY LONG? I do.

Now, I like the neighbors that live above me.  They are very nice and don’t really bother/attempt to talk to anyone. So, I don’t take their privacy to mean they are antisocial; however, I am willing to bet their apartment looks like a museum.  I keep hearing the vacuum cleaner, and the water, go on and off.  I mean a lot of water usage. Simply extraordinary! <gushhhh, off. Gussshhhh, off again.>

When the apartment was first looked over, there was a noticeable patch just above the shower head.  Okay, not an issue I can understand wear and tear, or aging on the pipes.  Now, that little patch is gushy.  Not to mention that due to the use of the washing machine (all day long) there is a drip, drip, drip inside the drywall.  Ahg…

The water issue spans all continents. Should the reports be accurate, it would seem to be getting worse.  While some would like to blame this on climate…don’t solely blame Earth changes. Change is the law of the Universe. Most of us realize that and see it in the mirror every day. The evident changes boil down to some people’s disregarding the preciousness of the water resources by overusing and/or blatantly polluting it, plus the outdated infrastructures being the culprit.  The lack of planning to negotiate the future for upgrades was not taken into consideration.  If you think about that for a moment, it’ll lead to a lot of questions…..

Well, this is just another two-cents to add to the pot….
