The Breet Report – Water Issues Rising and It Isn’t Water

While California is battling the diminishing water (water wars) in the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere is not fairing much better.  There is undeniable evidence that something is happening on Earth. The evidence is either man-made or solar, that much is certain. The phrases global warming/global climate change are all over the net and on the lips of the diplomats getting ready to meet at Copenhagen, but the debate rages.  The debate stems from exact cause of the planet changes. Things such as evaporating the water supplies should be addressed swiftly, yet are not because it comes down to exact cause and money. Why, when our survival depends on water? Let’s start tackling the global issue from another angle.

Whatever a person believes/not believes is causing the issues of global climate change is sufficient.  The data, charts, money, all of it – is not going to matter if the world just does nothing. As human beings the time for evolutionary adaptability and change is here for all.

The technological advances are here to reduce energy consumption of coal and fossil fuels, globally.  The technology revolves around the harnessing of solar energy through solar panels.  Solar panels have been tested for quiet a number of years – the results prove sustainability beyond what was first dreamt of for sure.  Why would a number of people be able to sell energy back to the power companies?

The technological advances are here to reduce contamination of the water supply.  When current forms of extracting coal and fossil fuels is allowed to finally die out, the water supplies could recover (it is nature after all), and water would not be re-routed.  Water has been re-routed for so long that little to no research has been done to effectively evaluate the future causes – so globally every one is seeing them now.  How? The local area streams are drying up and dying – evaporating quickly.

Cause – multiple issues. Action – nothing. Equal – no water. Equal – food issues. Human beings at the top of the food chain.  Eek…

The technological advances are there for the entire world to successfully overcome the changes happening.  Whatever the changes are labeled as – they are still global changes.

Since everything is connected to what can be produced from nature, the need is not to know the exact cause, but what to do to save lives.  Coastal areas need to be addressed first – that much is evident. All coastal areas as it has been mentioned on here for the past year an half, need to be addressed first. (Oh but before moving on…before another official, government or otherwise, seeks “free labor,” get out there and set the example of free labor – literally.  Quit the job (or receiving royalties), roll up the sleeves and set an example.  It will have to be done anyway, so it’ll be okay to get the jump start since the planet does not accept money of any form, to produce water for all us.  Most of the population is unemployed now, so it will not be hard for the example to be set.)

Remember, human beings are adaptable. (We may not evolve quickly, but we are adaptable.) The only thing that has to happen — we have to work together to create sustainability.  When was the last time every one worked together, and not doing so because of a war?

If you haven’t seen ‘Flow – the Movie’ or ‘Home – by the Home Project’ on YouTube I urge you to do so. Asking a fellow who posts URL’s routinely not to is funny : but one resource I use is a Del.icio.us.com/OPIT/ file which is publicly accessible, along with newsblogging at my website. Del.icio.us is searchable also for all contributors’ links, which makes an interesting contrast to commercial search provider results.
You have touched on many topics I follow : water availability being a major one. Current TV has a group of newshawks with their own section headed by JanforGore which I recommend. I have other articles listed under Water-Wealth and Power which may tend more to conspiracy thoughts than you like. I just ‘call ‘em as I see ‘em.’
That section/post is listed under Collections Forwarded to Blogger at My.Opera.com/oldephartte/links.
As far as media and what is reportable…even for a fellow who doesn’t surf the Darknet or do much social networking… that’s a joke.

    Hello Mr. Farnham –

Yes, I have seen the movie HOME! It was wonderfully put together and enjoyed the information greatly.
The water issues should be a concern for all. I will have to check out your site and the other information, maybe even to add or send more links. The water issues are all over the states, but nothing is being said – that is a concern. LOL – Yes I know that there is an issue with lack of reporting on many issues – lots a lacka -
