And so it has begun…again…
There are so many people in the unemployment lines – that news of prime mortgage failures are beginning to come to light (1). This is where that old saying of, “the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer,” is really going to start taking shape. Why is that statement being made??
The data reports are only showing the current saga of layoffs and hard times. The data reports are not taking in the already unemployed. Don’t believe it? Here is a senator from Vermont giving the facts. (Guess they can’t be all bad, right? Vermont does have a track record for being vocal.)

The population is on an elastic binge. People are wondering just what in the world to do to – maintain, pay bills, and other things that we have been told we need. Guess what? All of the things that we need – we don’t really need. It’s true.
How can that statement be made while writing from a computer and have a cable hook up? Simple. Live below the advertised needs. There it is in a nutshell. Get back to basics, even if starting off small and simple. (The idea of working from now, to the bottom.)
Do a check list of what is actually needed, then go from there. The more one tends to – go without cable television, new phone, new clothes, no gym membership, giving up the booze or smokes, no subscriptions, etc., etc., the more it will be discovered that life is actually pretty darn good. The dazzling “wow moment” will hit, and life will never be the same again.
