This is a topic that is still taboo to talk about – poverty. The idea of being independent, as in growing ones own food (etc.), has not been in the face of the public for a long time. (Big push/talk in the 90’s about the homeless/hungry…then nothing.) The winter is just starting to gear up across the states, and harsh winter months are still ahead for many folks. Since the bottom line is showing deafness to the public – going true grassroots – seems to be a good solution; however, the first steps have to be taken to get through winter. Donate a can of food to the food bank. Do what you can without hurting your own family…

“Starling and unsettling” (source 1) are not the words to be using for the starving population, rather the American public took it up the bum from greedy too big to fail fat cats. The World has taken it up the bum with feel good, and wanna be overlords of politics and/or the globe.
The hunger issue is not a new issue suddenly… yet the reports make it out to be just that – - because it is evident here in the United States. How dumb are we to think that the seen and shadow politics do not have a hand in this? Apparently, very dumb.
The chocking of the livelihoods has been A number ONE on the lists of things, because “ruling” is easier to do than to address any issue. “Make a law and tell everyone to follow it. They will have no choice but to fall in line. If they don‘t we just lock them up.”
This is 2009 – not the Dark Ages, or any other age – we, nationally and globally, the people are not helpless, mindless, or idiotic. All the technology is there to stop this madness and prosper. Why does it not come to light? Control. It is all about the bottom line of control. This is not some damn conspiracy either. If people just took a moment, and not rewind to “I’m mad as hell I’m not going to take it anymore…,” because frankly, VIOLENCE is not the answer, there would be independence of all this stuff. (And I admit I do not have the answers to the world issues, but I know it can be a better place. I know people can work together. Especially, with the technology that keeps being improved upon by the average person.)
With all of this “new information” about people going hungry (just here in the United States), is it still “okay” to fine people and/or lock them up for not being able to pay for health care? (source 3) Uh? (Everything in politics is “tied together” somehow. Free is not always free.) I wonder what any member of Congress or government has to say about this information. My best guess – nothing. Not one thing, because it will be glossed over and bills passed. Tell me that is not some dang-gone control? Rude. Unthinkable. Heartless. Mean. It is madness. Our supposed leaders have it in for us – wonder why? This is certainly what it is suggesting to me and probably you too…
Look, even though people are writing to their Congressmen, and getting the automatic letter back, writing a letter is not working. The voice of poor, whether you are doctor, attorney, professional athlete, is being put to the back burner. How does that make you feel? Paid your dues, right? Living comfortable, right? Been compromising most of the life, right? So has every other citizen who keeps seeing the injustices.
Remember the 7,000 that were massacred when they said no. (China)
Remember the 30,000 that were massacred in the military takeover. (South America)
Remember the other countless civilians worldwide for just sheer domination for control and the power.
It (power/control) is a drug. It gets people off. This is why there is no hint of peace. This is why it will take people being peaceful. Err? Yes. Because the more you do the opposite of what is wanted…it makes you undivided; therefore, invincible. The veil of the political world is unwinding since it seems the going term is “okay, by me.” (source 2) (That is only paraphrased too. Make sure to read it and/or listen if you have not already.)
Why? Why? Why? Why? I have a feeling, I am really not going to want to know…
All anyone has to do is say “no.” One voice – One action – One peace – One resolution – Hey, isn’t that what America is suppose to be already? Hey, isn’t that what civilians have done before – 2009 all the back through history? The public, the poor, seems to really get steamed-rolled all the time.
Just my two-cents to this madness. I know my voice is out on the wind…blowing away.
For just over a year now, I have been getting the updates concerning net neutrality and listening/watching/reading both sides of the table. The conclusion in my mind that has been reached is simple – (Since hearings are coming up, and the money side usually wins in this world today – why not. Apparently a Constitution Free Zone is not enough to take away all my rights. Review the Acts for those that are not aware of the zoneS.) -Every last single person that has benefited from control (in any form) always wants more. The appetite to tell people, almost free thinking individuals, what they can or cannot do is a gigantic monster of a thousand heads.
The net brought the world together in a way that was never “forward” thought. And that takes us back to forward thinking, that pesky thing that never happens, that keeps getting the world into messy situations. (Look at the news for lack of forward thinking in the way of connecting the dots, especially when it comes to protecting the planet.)
Look, while I certainly have nothing to hide, or special agenda to rule the world, I want my net – plan and simple. Spy? Heck, come on down for a cup of hazelnut coffee, my name is plastered up on here, just let me get a fresh pot on…
Bottom line – there is no more control. Look at it. Look at everything. Look in the dang mirror – then look around. The dollar, the banks, the markets do not work for the people at all, never has; and the only the ones it does work for are the ones that manipulate the system. (This is not the only place uttering those words before anyone decides to get on a high horse. Look at Ron Paul, Huffington Post, Vermont Senator – who’s name escapes me..)
While it was put on here that the White House called out the media, the next stance taken or (possibly accurate) quote was, “we control the media.”

Obviously, you control nothing, but put on that brave face. If you controlled anything, anything at all, it would be what the voice of the people have been saying – work it out and keep it (our COUNTRY) in check, FOR THE BETTERMENT OF ALL, INCLUDING THE REST OF THE WORLD. Not sell us out to suits, or a slew of other fun facts in history.
With all of that, I would like to add a special note and final thought
(Filed under weird.) Last night there was an airplane that did nothing but loops around less than 4 blocks (which are small) for half an hour. The dang thing was flying low and nothing to indicate from the ground that it was the police doing their thing. Yup, called the local area non-emergency number and the dispatcher was saying that it was them. Okay – for half an hour and nothing on the news? (Get the part about the news.) You know tracking down a drug dealer? Escaped person? Free person exercising what they thought were basic rights to listen to a radio program? Paranoia? Perhaps, but that does not explain the presence of officer today strolling on through this complex, and not the one across the street.
Things never stay the same forever, that much we all know. Continuing to ignore any positive, un-controlling change, leads a lot of good people on a path to doing bad things. The decimation of individuals character, or the above reproach status held by an individual, has a heavy karmic debt attached to it; and karma exists. How do I know karma exists? Simply that what goes around, comes around. While on the journey of connecting a lot of dots, the veil of old has been lifted – the right things need to start happening. Life is about peace, prosperity, hope, and love – not controlling. Will this ever be learned?
