Help by Kosta Kostov at publicdomainpictures.net

At times, I sat back and shook my head at the lack of follow through with some of the treaties and bills signed by the heads of states/leaders of the globe. It never made sense as to why all of these people would meet up for a shindig at a country to go over the climate mess – then do nothing for follow through. Man, that really pissed me off. There would be sprinkles of advance technologies coming out to do away with the obsolete advancements, but no true follow through.

Right now, I have seen a lot of the top dogs of environmental movements stepping forward to say many different things, in an attempt to “debunk” the black and white documents saying THEY LIED. A great number of people built their lives around being protectors for the environment, and I am one of them.  Not to the degree they are with very dedicated, or highly educated “my life’s work attitude,” with it…more of if I see the trash I will pick it up. Or should the issue of the water wars become more and more visible, I will point it out.

Here is the thing that is irking me about all the top dogs of the environmental movement stepping forward….(1) one is saying that it is NOT the sun that is having an effect on our planet and (2) not one of these places is saying a thing about the volcanic activity. For the sake of respect on the first one – I am not going to name names – but it did come through on the twitter account. I was appalled.

Everything on this planet does revolve around what the heck the sun is doing. This has is a known fact because well, apparently, this planet has been hit by some pretty damn big flares that have caused the poles to start melting. A process that has been going on for years. That means those 11 year cycles did have enough “umph” behind them to start up the process for melting. (Makes you wonder, at least me, what other things have been affected.) It could have, because as here I go again with a theory, even started the process for drying up the water. A retreat of sorts.  Since everything we thought we knew has now changed and it is the truth that is no where in sight, this is only a theory.

The second issue…volcanoes. I direct all persons back to just this summer of the 6 volcanoes going off at the same time. 6 VOLCANOES erupted at the same time in Russia. Again, going with known data, even published by Nat Geo (when the volcano in Japan erupted), or Mt. St. Helens in the 80’s – the weather and climate changed. It got cold, or wonking in some places.

See, that’s what I don’t get. Could it really be the money issue for abandoning the two known big factors, of looooong studied evidence?

The human experiences of burning fossil fuels is definitely not a good thing, nor is dumping toxic waste into the oceans, or polluting the fresh water streams – so that does have to change. The issues of water wars are not going to go away because, in the name of progress, we (human beings) changed the water flow and a natural process. It is still up to us, and the top dogs of the environment, to tackle this issue using our brain and acknowledging a proactive approach to cleaning up our mess.

  • The Breet Report – One Billion People Know Starvation

During the week, a headline came scrolling across saying something to the effect that world hunger toll had hit the one billion mark.  There are reports to (still) track world hunger but not to track the banks correctly or to have effective measures to limit the greed.  (Oh, and let us not forget the criss-crossing of bankers, to Washington.)

    Back to the one billion….

Throughout the last twenty-years, the same number of years the climate has been heating up (due to Earth changes and the like), world hunger has been an issue.  AN ISSUE not even effectively addressed in the “rich countries.”  Take a moment to remember where and how much of that wealth is held. – 1% -  Moving on…

Here is a video from You Tube.  This video shows that the citizens of America believe that the resources are there to prevent world hunger.  (Sadly, some citizens (still) do not know that people in the world go hungry, or live off $1.00 a day.)

    From You Tube User UPI.com

Does anyone hear the same thing that has been said for months now?

That’s right.  A plan of action – decisive and effective.  Why, with all the “power,” knowledge, and equipment, has hunger been allowed to continue?

GREED. But in what form?  To advance one nation over another? To weaken the gap between moderate living and uber wealthy? To continue inhuman mass murder by means of starvation? We are all guilty in some form for the lack of action and follow through.  Even if money was donated to “worthy causes.”  (Think about then and what is known now. But don’t give up hope….hang on…)

Why address hunger and get the matter to the forefront of the mind? Here is the next You Tube video. The number is inaccurate now, since the reports are still kept for the starving.

The point is simple – when a proper, peaceful, adjustable plan is not constructed to maintain what is here, on the soil of the United States, (especially clean water, soil, and the ability to disagree but get the job done) the doom of starvation will afflict each of person.

The landscape of the nation has changed due to sprawling urban life – the trees are gone. The landscape of the nations mountains have changed due to how coal is taken from the Earth – the mountains are stripe and blown up.
The landscape of the nations water supply is cock-tailed with medications – due to pill pushers.  (Or whatever other term is out there and said a million times a day.)

The landscape in the video could be this nation – if – we do not stop fighting.  The nation has it good, even with the economic downturn.  By continuing to acknowledge the greedy actions, it plays into “well, we are just gonna do it again” attitudes.  Don’t believe it? What is the headline from a few hours ago (or if you are reading this later, about 4 PM, on October 16,2009, Reported by the New York Times, Titled: Bonus Put Goldman in Public Relations Bind,by Graham Bowley) — $700,00 bonuses? AGAIN? REALLY? For managing what?

There are plenty of people who managed to live off of tips from working in bars, to feed a family, pay the bills, and maybe put $5.00 of gas in the gas guzzler…those are managers of wealth.  Those people, and the other people that live off $1.00 a day, know real wealth.

  • The Breet Report – Another Article About Non-Renewable Resources

Thank you Associated Press Writer Brett Zongker for the article Politicians beware: Oil photo exhibit opens in DC

As the opening line says, “Politicians, cover your eyes.” Then again it is Halloween month…

I really hope that the artist, Edward Burtynsky, has a wonderful opening and success with this exhibit!  People need to see what happens when we just overuse and tapped dry the natural non-renewable resources our planet offers.  Then again – there is so much over consumption and disregard …..

Something that continues to bother me about the upcoming climate bill talk – “cap and trade” system to reduce greenhouse gasses. Critics say it could drive up energy costs. Why was Congress just fighting and nitpicking over the agriculture regions?  Wanting to have X dollar designated for certain areas??  I can’t even find the story anymore – but it was just out on the wire October 1. (Another Halloween gottcha? Or could they be eluding to possible food shortages?)
