The dragging of the feet to address the natural visual effects of global warming/global climate change is mind-boggling. There are way too many nations getting ready to meet in December that still are after “their number one interests.” Since globalization is so important, and adapting to the changes is going to take the assistance of all, young or old, it makes the situation a powder keg.
The Development
In the news, Hillary Clinton has stated as other heads of state have said in the last (now) ten months, “no one nation has the capacity to meet these challenges alone.” She is talking in the context of the navies having ‘difficulty’ in the northwest passage. (The link is below, and the story is coming from writer Paola Messana, AFP.)
Again. Why are the leaders (elected leaders) dragging the feet to meet the times of change in the United States? Oh – that’s right – there is more to the story…suppressed for years. To change things now means airing out the buy off’s, kick backs, and Washington dirty pool to us (the citizens of the USA) and whatever country we started conflicts in, because they didn’t agree with us. (If you do not believe it, read a book or two, and not watch television for facts.)
Demands
The smaller nations of the world are demanding (more) money for fighting global warming/global climate change in their local regions. Most of the smaller nations have a flourishing lifestyle and threatened by the changes of – the global event. To continue to ignore the plea for unified resolutions, and (actually) doing it, will commit them to death. Then again, a couple thousand less mouths to feed might be good for the richer nations economies?? (Don’t quote me on that, but review the homeless and poverty numbers here. What action has been taken about that – government level and local level?)
Resolution
Quit the wars and build-up of arms across the globe. Take a page from the nations that have focused on their local environment and put away the war machines. They have harmony and locked inside a better, sustainable, future growth. Recreating sustainable lands and learning how to do it with patience will help all economies. That is the point. That is the future.
The science behind the global event is pointing to the sun’s changes (and as we all know affects us and the flow of unseen energy hitting the planet, plus other things here on the planet), the lands drying up, the water depletion, and soon to be a lack of everything we now know. This is happening. This is not science fiction or in someone else’s lifetime, but ours.
(Note that the attempt to find the article about the nation focusing on just the environment, from last month, is not popping up to create a link. Something interesting though did … that is – the military build up in the island nations in the Atlantic, for the purpose of pursuing & detaining the drug runners.)
Final Thought
As stated on here before, right or wrong – the information is out there. The journals (by the professionals) printed with the data to prove the global event. The news reports coming in from multiple fields of environmental studies saying, “we just don’t know…” or “this is a pioneering field because we don‘t know what to expect next.” When you read between the lines, or the bold print in front of you, there is a change happening. We do not evolve quickly, but by golly we have technology that can help preserve what is left…if…we just work together.
With that, personally now – that is my wish. To work together, agree to disagree, disarm, fight for sustainability, fight to preserve what we have and make it through the tougher times that are getting geared up. Think of it like this, we have no control over the sun (the celestial object that has the ability to affect all life on this planet) but we do have a brain. With that brain, and combination of other brain power, we can make better decisions – then what we are doing right now – to preserve and recreate sustainability.
