• The Breet Report – Short Term Profits Equals No Long Term Goals

Businesses have an equal responsibility to the environment.  In the quest to “take while you can and no thought of the future,” businesses have seen profits and then folded when the heat was on due to illegal acts. (Take your pick or examine the coal mining business.) With multiple sites on the net that promote awareness to the environment and how beautiful it is, plus the benefits of reduce, reuse, recycle – why, oh why are profits still so important?  Are businesses banks?  Nope. They just want a piece of the pie and willing to justify a means to an end.

The other day a question was presented, something to the effect of “why the wardrobe was not updated?”  In order to “update,” there is a need to go to the businesses and promote the abuse on nature and people.  The stories of sweat shops and environmental disasters, have not been forgotten.  Should the improvements of conditions, and abolishment, of forced labor disappear – sure there would be a desire to “update” the wardrobe.

    What does this all mean?

Businesses rely on people being forgetful and are happy to have no attention given when a scandal breaks out.  Has there been any other news about the peanuts issue at the Georgia plant?  Has there been any other news about the soda factors in China causing environmental issues?

The laundry list of business as usual, even within government, is a long “who done it and got away with it.”  Individuals have been distracted with a divide and conquer scheme to test the stress limits.  (Raise of hands from those that are not stressing?  Raise of hands who aren’t?)  While the stress is equally felt (an assumption that is seen on the faces out in public)- the need exists for all individuals to remember, cutting corners is dangerous.  The organic bodies health is at stake, plus the environment – that which gives all life.  Before shopping for convenience, remember the facts; it boils down to still driving the status quo or not.

  • The Breet Report: Settlement For Human Life, Again

Another settlement has been reached when it comes to contamination of human lives.  When the actions of contamination are blatant- it has become easier to do a pay off and/or buy our way(s) out of messy deaths.

If this was a fair and equal world (all the way around) no one would know what toxic waste (in any form) does to the human body or the environment – because the funds gained would have ensured the use of our advance technology.  Advance technology seems to be the way of the future, yet we do not use it.  If we actually used the current advance technology, it would mean admitting we have been slowly and (again) blatantly been poisoned by those in a position of power.

Am still constantly amazed at the abuse of power people lord over each other just because of a title and money, to which it was given through elections or otherwise.  Life is much simpler than titles and money in that what is given will eventually be taken away.  When that happens, be it in the now or the future of that person’s life or the life any company, all you have left at the end is what is seen in the mirror or history.

When the pinpointing in history happens, as it ALWAYS does because historians are like that, there are graphs, charts, records of actions, or records of inaction’s recommended, etc….what does the history show?

Interestingly enough, the path of a good leader was usually followed for many generations. This is where prosperity and abundance was for everyone, with or without a title or money.  The best representation of this type of history is found the Celtic tribes and culture of Europe. Everyone cared, loved, and respected each other.  Laws existed to protect everyone and actions of the few who damaged the way of life were dealt with swiftly. The children and the elderly were always taken care of and never knew hunger or solitary lives.

When the quick and easy cutting corners method was implemented and forced upon the people (the ever warmongers, thieves, so on and so forth) they were eventually met with horrible deaths.  Those deaths are recorded in history as well, with the actions recorded going all the way back to the beginning of blatant abuse of power.   (Or the ever tightening the grip over a populous.)

The point being made here is simple – none of us can change the world for too long.  Eventually the preverbal clock runs out and one of two things is going to happen.

One, there are dark periods of history.  This is the realization that power, title and money are drying up, due to the exploitation of all sources, man-made or natural.  The ever important question becomes, “how to maintain it and get it back and the cost, etc.?” This causes turmoil for so many generations.

Two, there are peace periods in history.  This is the realization that none of that (power, title, or money) matters. The thing that matters most is only the love of your family, friends, health of the mind and body, plus everything around in the environment.

The ever important “I want to spend more time with my children, love of my life, traveling, etc.” begins to be realized — as reality.  People use to enjoy simple things, plus the modern day advance technology, in a nice package – till money and title were thrown into the mix.

Hence our vicious cycle that continues because we just don’t appreciate what we are given, obtain (without violence or deceiving methods), and ignore that which is most important, each other and the environment.

  • Leaders Are Changing Their Tune About Global Climate Change

Nations want to help in the adapting of Global Warming/Global Climate Change.  When we see and hear about Nations wanting to help with adaptation to a change – we better start putting on our own thinking caps.

The reason our global situation cannot be ignored now is evident in everything that surrounds us and the coming devastation from unknown factors.

Our surroundings are becoming dry and drought stricken. If they are not dry or drought stricken, the surroundings are poisonous due to growth accelerating chemicals and cutting corners for mass production purposes.

The coming devastation from unknown factors is based off of computer models that show what is happening with the melting polar caps.  Sure we know about the increase of water and desalination of the oceans; however, what happens to the pressure of the ice easing up on the tectonic plates?  What happens to the unknown germs that are locked in the ice, mingling with known a virus or bacteria?

And those are just two questions to a bigger picture.

The population of the world has never been at this volume.  There had always been a balance of species and ways the Earth was able to defend itself from naturally occurring changes.  Currently, changes are swift and computer models are not being fully shared because “more data is needed.”  Again, when that phrase comes up, you know there is a problem.

(Historically speaking, look at the issue with lead in gasoline; it wasn’t barred from use till it came to “poop of get off the pot” from a lot of people becoming sick.)

Everyone’s small proactive approaches of preparing or maybe still fighting Global Warming/Global Climate Change are important.  Things like recycling, banning cars, growing our own food, limiting mass production (Because really where does everything go once the expiration hits and what happens to those clothes that don’t sell, even after going to the discount store? Just wasted materials.), and re-thinking our entire status quo is what it will take for everyone to survive.

Think about this, just here in the United States, regardless of areas that have no water already or in worse drought conditions than ever before.

The relocation of every single New Yorker, and Manhattan Island, further inland away from the rising coastline. They are stacked up on each other and have no way to evacuate appropriately.  The mortality rate would be higher and the chaos is unimaginable. The discussions would turn into, “why didn’t someone say something sooner?”  Or, think about this, having to inform loved ones of death, when it could have been avoided, because over twenty years of the status quo was maintained and the science was ignored.

How horrible a thought and I don’t even know anyone in New York.  I care because we should all care, because it is a more pronounced issue than it is being given credit.

How is it the World leaders are changing their tune so quickly now?  I mean, we (the public) have not seen the graphs, charts, projected courses of devastation, science (broken down into normal speaking science) behind why they are changing their tune.  Seems like there is more – doesn’t it?

Well, again over twenty years of doing the same thing with no regard to the future will do that.  It becomes a point of survival before the zero point.
