The headlines do not look good for those going hungry in the United States. Between the homeless rate just a going up, up, and away – To the newly calculated wasted food – we are about to get the short end of a stick. Can someone tell me why again we look at these figures, especially, if there are cooked books contained within the science fields?

If I understand this correctly, it appears that somewhere down the pipe the United States is probably going to be put under a type of food restricted guideline. Here’s my thing – we have had the means to feed the entire world for a while, and nothing was done about it. Nothing. And everyone is suppose to be surprise about how many are hungry and homeless? Are you serious? With all the efforts put into making conflicts, guns, oil, and everything else that is “bad,” resources could have been allotted to stave off the rise of waste. Of course, this is a very large topic of “causes,” but if you have not been following the slash and burn methods/money etc. around the globe – there is no way to connect all the dots. There are just too many, sorry. (Mark sure to read the article – and check out the last paragraph. Hopefully, it’ll still be the same.)

With any luck, I am completely wrong.

  • The Breet Report – Financial Mess, Earth, and Daniel Suelo

While this story is not new (or hip) there is a lot to be learned from only taking and using what is needed to survive.

Understand that while I still feel a strong urge to point the finger myself at the one’s who are to blame for the financial mess, there is nothing wrong with pointing the finger at myself; frankly, we all should.

The idea that the system could never fail or have repercussions – for take, take, take, at every level of what we now know, is laughable.  Every level of what we know, relates to what has taken and cannot be replenished. Not just in the form of material wealth, but of self worth and that which gives us the life we comfortably have been enjoying for centuries – the Earth.

While many do not feel that the Earth is what gives us life, there are those that fight to maintain a balance on this rock to ensure a future for all.  The debate will rage on global warming and global climate change till something, someday, finally happens that makes us all go — “Who is the professional to ask the questions too???” (Especially, to those that do not follow the dots or at least listen/read/attempt to understand the evidence.) What a day that may or may not be in our lifetime, uh?

Below is BBC’s interview with the Daniel Suelo’s, done on the Autumn Equinox, 2009. (Daniel Suelo’s Website & Blog)

Again, it is okay to point the finger at yourself, because at one point it was forgotten that the purpose of life is not money, but each other.  For the good, the bad, or the indifferent – we are here, on a little blue planet, not for money – but something else.  I just don’t know what the something else is, but it cannot be to declare wars, deplete resources, or engage in hostile negotiations with those that do not agree with me (or you) – that would seem like a waste.

  • The Breet Report – China, African Oil, Global Climate Change…Something is not adding up

    Trying to follow the dots

China is trying to secure oil, rather invest in oil fields in Africa, eh? (1) With the talks coming up in Copenhagen for the global climate change … it makes me wonder if the other reports are a bit tainted.

There are so many little people (you and me) that are running around on this rock, trying to make it day in and day out, that the concept behind global climate change is not unthinkable.  The sheer number vs. resources left, points to increased activity of the climate being changed.  Then throw in the solar system activity for the strange events happen; and let us not forget about the bombing of the moon – that which has known effects on the rock that is inhabited by – us – the little people. So, global climate change is not unthinkable.  What gets me to thinking that the data might be tainted, or as citizens being set up (for lack of a better term) by those in a position to do the right thing, but still refuse, is at the Copenhagen talks COUNTRIES are attempting to reduce the global greenhouse carbon footprint.  Why is China attempting to secure oil fields?

Being a little person, and labeled by the U.N. as “you people,” when the dots start to connect, it makes for everything that one “believes in” seem rather worthless.  That those in a position to take the lead and be a leader, are able to sell everything right out from under us and then reap the benefits themselves.

The statement, “able to sell everything right out from under us,” refers to the article TIME did about the ‘Great American Yard Sale.’ (Think that was back in 2008) The article has been referenced on here before…

Why did America sell most of the bridge contracts to other countries? Here in Virginia, it is no secret that one of the most recent bridges built is held by an Australian company.

Next question/observation along the same context of ‘Great American Yard Sale,’ with all of the foreclosures, and banks not able to produce the bank note, (could be from all the shuffling of debt), have the lands that the homes and maybe even commercial real estate been sold overseas to settle…..?

From the back seat, little people view, it is starting to appear as the United States is going to get the short end of a stick.  That the citizens could suffer greatly by the actions of those “leaders” who sold us out.  If this is false, GREAT! That would mean that we didn’t get sold out and might be able to have sustainability; however, reading through places like Bloomberg.com, Reuters, and keeping up with the environmental talks, the signs and dots are pointing to a different direction.

Is anyone else seeing this or want to throw in their two-cents from their neck of the woods? What properties around the area are not held by America, though on American soil?
