In this day and age, nothing is too taboo to talk about it anymore, is it?  Well, if it is not taboo, then topics are discussed in a politically correct angle.

Yesterday, the previous post talked about “other things happening in the world.”  The world is full of diverse opinions and tolerance to/for those opinions.  Heck, many take to platforms such as this are used to get opinions out, and to be heard.

Well, in trolling on the net I find myself going to You Tube – a lot lately.  The idea of starting a vlog is pulling for some reason, thus the platform(s) should be explored.  (My motto, always listen and trust the instincts.) So, here I am…more dang videos of everything. One thing attached to another…I hate television and here I am watching snippets. As I was about to jump off and go back to reading my book, I came across a short video.

From You Tube User: HenryBloggit, Rachel Maddow Exposes the Secretive Right-Wing Republican Cult “The Family” July 29, 2009

The masses have a general conclusion of what religion is, or is not, from their point of view.  The vast majority of people realize religion is faith, thus do not push their faith onto others.  When those that go out and push faith onto others, that makes it a belief.  As far as I can tell, when a belief is pushed onto others, war is started.  This is only an opinion, so take it how you want too.  The video above speaks volumes…

Just so we are clear, my idea of faith …. I take into consideration the parts omitted from the books. It was deemed by man “what was what” for me; therefore, the books are incomplete and all “religions” (faith/beliefs) are incomplete.  The missing parts — make up the whole “divide and conquer the masses.”  If war is kept up – the power struggles remain. Onward…

In doing some cookie trail work, I rediscovered the article about how all of the Presidents (except one) have shared a single bloodline.  When I first read the article, I found it to be impressive, but weird.  The article states that the young’n and the grandfather are the first to have proven the bloodline.  <Hit the buzzer! History! History! Where are the old history books?>

Throughout the years of man, the “royal blood lines” have been hard-pressed to maintain.  The wars and power struggles will do that to the bloodlines of any person on the globe.  But more on this later…it all works together.

What does this have to do with the above clippie?

Who gets off saying they are “divine” and must therefore go to other countries to represent us?
Why are they acting divine? (Where is my plate of transparency, please?)
What makes them believe that they are divine/ “doing Gods work”?
Who would be continuing to fuel these archaic (even barbaric) ways of thinking?

Technically, no matter what an individual puts his or her faith, or belief, into, each of us originate from the same start.  Each individual had to come from somewhere, and birth rights were deemed by man, not the divine.

The man aspect of it (long ago and probably coming up) had to convince others, through “miracles” and slaughtering, that they were divine in order to “rule.”

Shit…there really a lot of people on the planet now, uh?

Time to start working some miracles, and when that does not work, the next chess move is sparking more war.  Textbook stuff here people…the victors got to write history out before…old hat tricks. The best part of all – it is in plain sight.  Go figure.

*And why are bankers telling us they are doing God’s work again…see a possible pattern…I could be on the wrong cookie trail…

  • The Breet Report – Children Need Parents, Not A Television

Old School House by Peter Griffin, from PublicDomainPictures.net

There is a new recommendation that children 2 years and younger, should watch no television and those that are older should be limited to no more than 2 hours of television…because there may or may not be a link to aggression. (source below) Modern technology is a wonderful thing if used correctly, but like with the fast food chains, conveniences of peace and quite, plus on the go life, many will not listen to the suggestion.

The issue of the television being the one-eyed babysitter is nothing new to parents. If the grandparents are consulted they will tell you that raising children isn’t what it use to be – it’s a lot tougher. The tough part comes in when children observe behavior, then start to act it out to get a parent to buy or do something. Being a regular observer, this behavior has been seen – everywhere.

Being a parent is not suppose to be easy, and it is not suppose to be convenient, or for the tax breaks. (Which when if you hear some parents talk, they love tax time because of the kick back.) Umph, that‘s just wild, isn‘t? Playing the system before it strikes back is never a good thing, laws change – eventually (and especially since the system is broke) those laws are going to change. (Gambling like Wall Street – future forecasts to bet the now.) Parents have the responsibility to be a provider and educator. Parents should not rely on the education system to provide the free babysitting during the day hours and one-eyed wonder at night. Active involvement for a child is necessary since they learn through observation. They see what is happening and know what will work – till told no, then make a parents life hell. Yikes!

Now, the article of interest does point out that scientists just do not know for sure if television is what triggers aggression in children and that parents have a need to pay attention to their children. (source below)  Why should any parent be reminded of this? Take up the responsibility and see it all the way through because a child/children need parents, not a television.

  • Environment: Generations – Present and Future

As we go about our daily travels we often, or rarely, have a passing thought of how to become more active in community functions.  Functions could be the volunteer work at a local adoption non-profit organization, recycling projects, festivals, or clubs that really take a stand and  bring about awareness.

Most of these outlets bring the awareness and have no hidden agenda.

Granted the individuals who run said places are more into it for the clout and forming clicks, but that is found everywhere.  Sometimes people just don’t get along.  It becomes bad though when trash talking and belittling starts.

The annoying factor for most of us that are or becoming highly involved with awareness and helping, comes in the blatant fact that while we are growing in our efforts – to each individually do our part to save the plant (BECAUSE EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS) – most of the organizations that you being to research want money to join.

Money is not going to save the plant.

Money is not going to fund volunteer work and saving the ONLY PLANT we live on.

Uh, the slightly agitated look I am expressing right now is fitted with a big “?”.  Fund volunteer work…

Popular sites exist out there, and some to be found here soon, help bring awareness and preservation to our society.  There is a lot of information to be read, gathered, or expressed about.

On most of the sites, if you join, you get a little perk, coupons, and the list goes on and on.  Oh, the best one is: honorable mention.  For what, taking a moment out of the schedule to actually do work that has nothing to do with an individual, but GENERATIONS OF LIFE! Come on.

People, who are passionate about their hobbies, do try to make money off of them.  Most do it for free because it is what they want to do, but the compensation of effort is usually done in bartering.

Bartering is a long lost art of securing things through trade.  This practice is seen rarely in industrialized nations anymore.  Everything is advertised, buy, and come on back for more!

Hasn’t worked out so well has it?  Took awhile to recognize that it was not going to work out – but it is seen now.

How can anyone out there want to help our plant?
How can anyone out there want to start a better environment for GENERATIONS to come?
Why do we think our own actions never count?

Should you want to start small, stay here. Some of the suggestions you might already know or more ideas will come to you!!  (Side note:  I would love to hear about them!)

    Self Control
Everyone is penny pinching now.  This is a wonderful exercise in self control.
Our minds have been programmed through media outlets like the radio and television, for getting consumers to consume.

Just think about it.  If you keep hearing anything over and over – you are bound to start thinking that it is true or that you need “it.”

Take a step back and ask yourself:  is it a want or a need?

    Living below your means
Granted this one has been harped on a lot by the media outlets or “experts.”

Families that were immediately hit by the economic downturn were already at least a year ahead, before the bottom actually fell out of the real estate market.  When that happened – everyone took notice.

However, those families had already disconnected the cable and cut expenses everywhere.  For example: Taking lunch to work instead of buying out.  Others had no choice but to move back in with family.

Adjustments to how you pay in rent can be done by moving to a different place.

Before you leave for work in the morning, unplug the electrical appliances that are not going to be used.  Why keep the juice running? Things like the television, lights, computers, and others are on surge protectors anyway, just unplug them. Then unplug the washer and dryer. Besides that, if enough people did it, the huge electrical company in your local area would be loosing out on YOUR MONEY! Ah!

Do laundry once a week…if possible.  I know that households are made up of at least two to five members.  This might not be entirely possible, but make the effort.  Do not do laundry during the peak times of the day.  It will cost you more.

Technology is a wonderful tool if used correctly.  Think of it like this, instead of technology ruling you, try molding it to your needs.  You won’t be able to ever control it.

    Green Living & Recycling
Here is where total adjustment could happen within a year.  It will take a year because getting into a different way of being is just not going to happen at night.  Never does and besides, after two weeks, you could just toss the whole idea to the side because you see nothing benefiting you - YET.

This is not all about an individual, family, or community though overall is it though?  This is about GENERATIONS, present and future!

    1.     Get yourself a spiral notebook and grab your pen.
    2.     Sit down in front of the computer or if you have already gotten one, a      green living “how to book.”
    3.     Find out what is going to work best for you and your lifestyle.
    4.    Always keep researching!  Always ask more questions!

Leg work on eating right, health, trucking your butt out of the house to the local recycling center, etc. etc. is effort.  Not only will you have to put forth the effort, you are going to have to start small to see the results of your efforts!

So, you don’t know how to plant a garden – big deal.  Get a plant anyway for no more than $4.00 to $6.00 – at the grocery store – in the veggie section.  Start off small.

Guess what? This is starting the process of SELF-SUFFICIENCE.

Best gardening tip every: Never take too much and follow the directions on tabby thing.  Water and Sunlight are the keys. Moderate temperature.  At least try.  You could grow something that your neighbor would like to barter with you on later. Remember:  trial and error happens when learning.

    Quality of Life.
    Preservation of Life.

Stop buying into the money genre.

Once the laborers, our grandparents, realized how important it was to get an education and pushed it through the generations, a way was found to keep people from achieving it.  Hence the mess all of us are in now with our environment and economy! Everything plays and has a bigger part.

Get back to grassroots.  Start thinking.  Realize the effort.  Be open to suggestions. Above all, when it comes time,…practice what you preach.
