Help by Kosta Kostov at publicdomainpictures.net

At times, I sat back and shook my head at the lack of follow through with some of the treaties and bills signed by the heads of states/leaders of the globe. It never made sense as to why all of these people would meet up for a shindig at a country to go over the climate mess – then do nothing for follow through. Man, that really pissed me off. There would be sprinkles of advance technologies coming out to do away with the obsolete advancements, but no true follow through.

Right now, I have seen a lot of the top dogs of environmental movements stepping forward to say many different things, in an attempt to “debunk” the black and white documents saying THEY LIED. A great number of people built their lives around being protectors for the environment, and I am one of them.  Not to the degree they are with very dedicated, or highly educated “my life’s work attitude,” with it…more of if I see the trash I will pick it up. Or should the issue of the water wars become more and more visible, I will point it out.

Here is the thing that is irking me about all the top dogs of the environmental movement stepping forward….(1) one is saying that it is NOT the sun that is having an effect on our planet and (2) not one of these places is saying a thing about the volcanic activity. For the sake of respect on the first one – I am not going to name names – but it did come through on the twitter account. I was appalled.

Everything on this planet does revolve around what the heck the sun is doing. This has is a known fact because well, apparently, this planet has been hit by some pretty damn big flares that have caused the poles to start melting. A process that has been going on for years. That means those 11 year cycles did have enough “umph” behind them to start up the process for melting. (Makes you wonder, at least me, what other things have been affected.) It could have, because as here I go again with a theory, even started the process for drying up the water. A retreat of sorts.  Since everything we thought we knew has now changed and it is the truth that is no where in sight, this is only a theory.

The second issue…volcanoes. I direct all persons back to just this summer of the 6 volcanoes going off at the same time. 6 VOLCANOES erupted at the same time in Russia. Again, going with known data, even published by Nat Geo (when the volcano in Japan erupted), or Mt. St. Helens in the 80’s – the weather and climate changed. It got cold, or wonking in some places.

See, that’s what I don’t get. Could it really be the money issue for abandoning the two known big factors, of looooong studied evidence?

The human experiences of burning fossil fuels is definitely not a good thing, nor is dumping toxic waste into the oceans, or polluting the fresh water streams – so that does have to change. The issues of water wars are not going to go away because, in the name of progress, we (human beings) changed the water flow and a natural process. It is still up to us, and the top dogs of the environment, to tackle this issue using our brain and acknowledging a proactive approach to cleaning up our mess.

While California is battling the diminishing water (water wars) in the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere is not fairing much better.  There is undeniable evidence that something is happening on Earth. The evidence is either man-made or solar, that much is certain. The phrases global warming/global climate change are all over the net and on the lips of the diplomats getting ready to meet at Copenhagen, but the debate rages.  The debate stems from exact cause of the planet changes. Things such as evaporating the water supplies should be addressed swiftly, yet are not because it comes down to exact cause and money. Why, when our survival depends on water? Let’s start tackling the global issue from another angle.

Whatever a person believes/not believes is causing the issues of global climate change is sufficient.  The data, charts, money, all of it – is not going to matter if the world just does nothing. As human beings the time for evolutionary adaptability and change is here for all.

The technological advances are here to reduce energy consumption of coal and fossil fuels, globally.  The technology revolves around the harnessing of solar energy through solar panels.  Solar panels have been tested for quiet a number of years – the results prove sustainability beyond what was first dreamt of for sure.  Why would a number of people be able to sell energy back to the power companies?

The technological advances are here to reduce contamination of the water supply.  When current forms of extracting coal and fossil fuels is allowed to finally die out, the water supplies could recover (it is nature after all), and water would not be re-routed.  Water has been re-routed for so long that little to no research has been done to effectively evaluate the future causes – so globally every one is seeing them now.  How? The local area streams are drying up and dying – evaporating quickly.

Cause – multiple issues. Action – nothing. Equal – no water. Equal – food issues. Human beings at the top of the food chain.  Eek…

The technological advances are there for the entire world to successfully overcome the changes happening.  Whatever the changes are labeled as – they are still global changes.

Since everything is connected to what can be produced from nature, the need is not to know the exact cause, but what to do to save lives.  Coastal areas need to be addressed first – that much is evident. All coastal areas as it has been mentioned on here for the past year an half, need to be addressed first. (Oh but before moving on…before another official, government or otherwise, seeks “free labor,” get out there and set the example of free labor – literally.  Quit the job (or receiving royalties), roll up the sleeves and set an example.  It will have to be done anyway, so it’ll be okay to get the jump start since the planet does not accept money of any form, to produce water for all us.  Most of the population is unemployed now, so it will not be hard for the example to be set.)

Remember, human beings are adaptable. (We may not evolve quickly, but we are adaptable.) The only thing that has to happen — we have to work together to create sustainability.  When was the last time every one worked together, and not doing so because of a war?

  • The Breet Report – Water Wars Can Be Avoid With Proper Community Action, Work Together

Water Wars arThink About It by Zaldy Icaonapoe not just for the forward thinking impaired any longer, but real and expanding to all individuals, even here in the United States.

California is a hot bed (right now) of bringing the attention of water wars to the doorstep.  What is the most famous line – just because it has not happened here, does not mean it is going to happen. <Whoever came up with that, thank you!>

Water wars are being turned into a political crapshoot, thus praying on the people and raising the fear factor of “no water and no food.”(1)  Who are the people blaming?  Political advisors in the area.

The wake up call to this issue is not political but environmental. The aspect of never running out and take it while you can, apparently only works in the short term.  Every single state needs a long term solution developed, by their respective communities, and then take the action.

    Two-Cents To Add

While neither a Democrat, Republican, Liberal, or undecided, this – the blame game – needs to cease and desist – proto.  Instead of blaming and locking the water issues up in the court system, move the farms. That’s right. It’s a valley and water is not suppose to be in the area. It kind of makes it harder to pump it in to make fertile and vibrant crops in the long run.  Why? The technology has not been kept up to prevent harmful waste (lead or whatever pipe is being used) from contaminating the yield.  (Then throw on the pesticides.)

The United States has sprawled for way to long, believing that it could never fail. The only way it could have never failed – is if - the environment had been taken care of and not crapped on.  (Yes, an emotionally charged entry/opinion)  There are other crops and water wars happening in the United States. California is not the only case where water and food will be an issue, but the entire country.

How do we fix what we have left?

Reducing a lot of water waste! The problem is – as near as it can be seen – every one seems to be waiting for someone else to take the lead.  That way if that small step does not work, the blame game, can re-start.  How rude? Want to have action, but no one wants to take the step.  Seems mind numbing….

(So) How is water waste reduced?

Does the grass really need to be watered for that green look?  Mother Nature seemed to have a pretty good grasp of giving everything needed till pipes and construction happened…sprawling.  Forward thinking and communication — with the ability to peacefully disagree — but coming up with sound resolution to maintain water for the masses.  This has to happen.  There can be no more waiting.

Communities should not be pitted against each other for water and quality of life.  There would be no fear of running out, if the idea of working together – no matter the “class” – would just work together.
