At times, I sat back and shook my head at the lack of follow through with some of the treaties and bills signed by the heads of states/leaders of the globe. It never made sense as to why all of these people would meet up for a shindig at a country to go over the climate mess – then do nothing for follow through. Man, that really pissed me off. There would be sprinkles of advance technologies coming out to do away with the obsolete advancements, but no true follow through.

Right now, I have seen a lot of the top dogs of environmental movements stepping forward to say many different things, in an attempt to “debunk” the black and white documents saying THEY LIED. A great number of people built their lives around being protectors for the environment, and I am one of them.  Not to the degree they are with very dedicated, or highly educated “my life’s work attitude,” with it…more of if I see the trash I will pick it up. Or should the issue of the water wars become more and more visible, I will point it out.

Here is the thing that is irking me about all the top dogs of the environmental movement stepping forward….(1) one is saying that it is NOT the sun that is having an effect on our planet and (2) not one of these places is saying a thing about the volcanic activity. For the sake of respect on the first one – I am not going to name names – but it did come through on the twitter account. I was appalled.

Everything on this planet does revolve around what the heck the sun is doing. This has is a known fact because well, apparently, this planet has been hit by some pretty damn big flares that have caused the poles to start melting. A process that has been going on for years. That means those 11 year cycles did have enough “umph” behind them to start up the process for melting. (Makes you wonder, at least me, what other things have been affected.) It could have, because as here I go again with a theory, even started the process for drying up the water. A retreat of sorts.  Since everything we thought we knew has now changed and it is the truth that is no where in sight, this is only a theory.

The second issue…volcanoes. I direct all persons back to just this summer of the 6 volcanoes going off at the same time. 6 VOLCANOES erupted at the same time in Russia. Again, going with known data, even published by Nat Geo (when the volcano in Japan erupted), or Mt. St. Helens in the 80’s – the weather and climate changed. It got cold, or wonking in some places.

See, that’s what I don’t get. Could it really be the money issue for abandoning the two known big factors, of looooong studied evidence?

The human experiences of burning fossil fuels is definitely not a good thing, nor is dumping toxic waste into the oceans, or polluting the fresh water streams – so that does have to change. The issues of water wars are not going to go away because, in the name of progress, we (human beings) changed the water flow and a natural process. It is still up to us, and the top dogs of the environment, to tackle this issue using our brain and acknowledging a proactive approach to cleaning up our mess.

  • The Breet Report – Impact of Water Wars and Conservation of Water

This is a gloomy report coming out of India.  The water wars there are gearing up with the acceleration of melting ice caps.

    In a Nutshell

On the other side of the globe, the people who read this information, have a tendency to ignore the warning signs.  This glacier in India supplies water to two-thirds of the population (from the AP) there, but we think nothing of it.  Why?  Because it is not affecting us?  That is far from the truth.

There are food supplies (in certain regions) cultivated to sustain the global supply chain.  India is not without a status of being a food producer to many other countries.  That all mighty drive to make money, is of course in the nations best interest. Without having the water, there can be no food.  Without the food, there can be no global-food supply.  That could be disastrous for not only their nation, but the rest of the world.

Alert and awareness for the purpose of conservation

Aside from deciphering science talk and reading between the lines on the limited water reports – it comes down to this, the region we live in must become alert and aware of the water supply.

Alert and aware? What the heck? What does that mean? Well, it means conservation. The simplest act of being alert and aware to how much water is being consumed and/or wasted.

Conservation of the water supply will ensure better crops and thus meet the demands for consumption. Check out the info below.  Granted this is a broke down version of information, but there is not point in reinventing the wheel.

    - Information exist about when is the best time to take a shower, wash clothes, or run the dishwasher.  That time is during the off-peak. Meaning when others are not doing the same thing you are doing.

    - For a number of years, watering the grass during off or peak times has been addressed.  Let’s try not watering the grass, especially during drought time.  There is plenty of regions that suffering stronger droughts.  This begs the question…what about the food supply here? Note: not much is being talked about that on the news.

A conservation step could be the act of re-route x amount of a water supply to certified USDA organic farms, or others (because that might have just re-sparked the organic or not organic controversy) to ensure the crops for local consumption.

Simple, small, and adjustable steps in order to promote the future and limit the impact of water wars.

  • The Breet Report – The Media Just Got Called Out!

Wow!  The President of the United States just called out the blatant and obvious promotions network television (news or otherwise) have been doing: PROMOTING VIOLENCE and FEAR.

Look – I am not weighing in on the health care reform issue that is going on right now – I kind of think that it has already been decided if it is going to pass or not.  So, moving on …

Our media sucks.  That’s right – sucks. Mainstream only shows and has been showing violence and then putting their take on issues – with a fear line.  Pure and simple.

I have seen too many ads online where a journalist (or two) clearly state, “yes I was fired for doing blah story, but here is my resume.”

Look, too many people are going “I’m afraid,” but they don’t even know exactly what the heck to fear, and trust me it’s a big world out there.  If you think you should fear the government, fear if the government wasn’t there (at least some of them, maybe 1%) to tell big corporations to “find another way to screw the public.”

Oh and if the world had let their big boy or big girl britches fall during WWII, we would all be singing a different tune right about now.

Go on Mr. President.  I didn’t vote for you but I will give you kudos! (Note: Sadly, I did not vote in the last “historical” election.  I figure either way, the people and the environment are still kind of going to take a hit. Too many old timers that like their pockets lined.  Hey, wouldn’t that be the job of a reporter to bring that to light!!! Ha!)
