• The Breet Report – Policy-Makers At Work

While it is no secret that neither party is a favorite, this video just about summarizes what I think happens when the public has a chance to finally speak.  Policy-making at it the finest standards, uh?

  • The Breet Report – Sharing The Happy News!

I bet everyone has been wondering why the usual two to three posts have declined to one a day…. Well, life has had quiet a few surprises for me lately, and I have been very happy for them. I had been debating on putting a “plug” out on here because I didn’t want to pollute The Breet Report with distractions. So pesky. Okay, so here it is…

    Can you tell I’m nervous…?

Technorati launched their revamped site, as of October 15th, 2009. The improvements have been phenomenal. Instead of reinventing the wheel, read all about it here. ;)

The creative part of course (if you read the article) has been that they are exposing bloggers to the world! Technorati has featured content – from bloggers – instead of just the typical thumbing through till something “pops out at ya” blog. So, Yes…….I was one of the lucky ones that got selected.

Exciting news!!! Here is my article, The Three R’s of The Environment.

This week has been a great week getting to know other fellow writers. They offer knowledge in different fields and ideas that they want to cultivate. Like a sponge, I have been taking it all in, and want to learn more — so, I can’t wait.

    – It doesn’t stop there. –

While nail biting to see if my article would be published or not (because -well it’s me – so it is the environment, then marketing, and well one other area), I got a reply to another application submitted for work. On the day of the launch, I received another email offering a position here in Richmond, Virginia. My first article for the site has been published as of yesterday…(I did not know till I got the email the site was live…Holy Smokes!)

Yup, I about had a mini heart attack – then increased nail biting. LOL -

So, with the pressure on (so to speak) because I have been working at this part-time for a while, and full-time for (now) a solid two weeks, I have really been doing lots of self-training. READING. Lots and lots of reading. Then had self doubt – blah, blah, blah – Then I reminded myself of The Breet Report.

Here on The Breet Report, I have really dove into a number of aspects relating to self – to look beyond – to start small and build – to think more and not do what has been done but go beyond it and respect changes. By golly – this might have been a hell of a week (and it is not over at Friday, 5 PM, EST) but I got over the moments of self doubt.

This – working together – putting hope back out in the public. Giving people more to look forward too then 8 to 5, off on weekends, rinse/repeat, mundane tasks of living – to actually engage together for life.

So, be gone self-doubt! This is The Breet Report letting the world know that aspects of the environment, changes, and creating newer ways of helping each other are here to stay.

We need a change in the depressing news and it starts here. My steps might be small and unsure at first, but I am bound and determined to be more than I ever thought possible.

So, anyone have any other suggestions? ;)

Currently, I am getting ready to join a few organizations and start a few projects of my own in the community. Smalls steps. Small, wonderful, and peaceful steps to prove anything can be done.
